Start New Game.

That’s the button I always dreaded when playing games as a kid.

Pressing that button meant erasing all your saved game. The quests you had been through, the levels you had unlocked, and everything you had achieved. It meant starting from zero

Well, immigrating to a new country might feel that way at first. No language, no network, no job, no friends, no family, no nada.

It’s a completely white canvas, and a chance to paint what you want. It’s all the badges you need to earn again.

That’s why 7 months ago we started Hummus and Tech. It’s a podcast where Olim (immigrants) share their “war” stories about making it through in Israel, and how they made their way into the highly competitive hi-tech industry.

Each episode is packed with takeaways and insights from our guests. It’s a great feeling when listeners reach out and say how their advice has really helped them in their own challenges.
